As a seamstress specialising in alterations I have to keep an open mind about jobs as there is often no one thing fits all rule, so whatever it is you are thinking of it's always worth coming for a chat. I will use my experience and knowledge to advise on the best action to get your desired outcome.
01 Hems and Linings

Shortening hems can make a real difference to how you feel about your clothes, from trousers to dresses I can do it and will always use the same stitching as was origonaly on the garment unless you want it changed.
02 Tailoring
Taking things in or letting them out in the right places makes a garment yours, whether it's a bridesmaids dress, a suit or a pair of jeans that gape at the back. I can also take a look at suit jackets for you, from taking up the sleeve to taking narrowing the whoulder, tailoring an off-the-peg suit can really make it yours.
03 Zippers & Buttons
A broken zip or button doesn't have to mean the end of an otherwise perfectly good garment, zips and buttons can be replaced in so many things from jeans to shirts and winter coats.
04 Repairs
Repairing clothes is something I am passionate about as I'm very aware of how environmentally damaging the fashion industry is. I can patch and darn jeans and invisible mend your woollens. It's always worth coming to see me so we can take a look and find a way to extend the life of your much loved items.
